A rough day for Morgan. Accommodations on Sumbawa were harsh and provided no sleep. Up before the light to catch the 8 hour ferry ride to Flores. No food and no sleep will make this a long ride. Luckily there are good people on board to make the time go by.
The island of Sumbawa is very large, but has few amenities. Morgan finds it difficult to get lodging, food, water and fuel. All necessary to make this trip. The roads are mostly dirt and the going is tough.
Morgan started at the Sheraton in Lombok; beautiful and familiar. Troubles with the ferries made the transfer to Sumbawa difficult, but upon arrival it all got better. Sumbawa is like going back 50 years in time.
