大阪興正寺別院 大阪興正寺別院は、もともと天満興正寺別院として大坂天満（現在の大阪市北区天満4丁目７滝川公園）にありました。天満興正寺別院跡地にある石碑文には、文永元年（1264）に興正寺第3世源海上人が天満の地に房舎を建立したと伝えています。天正13年（1585）、興正寺第17世顕尊上人は本願寺とともに和泉貝塚から天満の地へ移り住みます。興正寺の本堂は天正14年（1586）8月19日に棟上げされました。天正19年（1591）、興正寺は豊臣秀吉の命により京都堀川七条の地に本願寺とともに寺基を移転することになりますが、天満御坊は大阪における真宗布教の法城となっていきました。天保8年（1837）、大塩平八郎の乱で山内が類焼してしまいますが、興正寺第２７世本寂上人はすぐさま仮御堂を造立し、天保10年（1839）には対面所、安政3年（1856）には本堂を再建しました。明治13年（1880）、天満御坊は興正寺天満別院となりますが、昭和20年（1945）の大阪空襲で山内すべてが焼失してしまいます。その後、天満別院は、昭和40年（1965）に大阪興正寺別院と名称を変更して大阪市旭区赤川町に再建され、昭和63年（1988）に現在地である高槻市奈佐原に移転して今日に至っています。 跡地:大阪府大阪市北区天満4丁目7滝川公園 所在地:〒569-1041大阪府高槻市奈佐原340
