This is my own design for an SCA flail with a flexable segmented "chain" that will not enter a bargrill. The "chain" is made of three 2.5" sections of 1.25" Silo-Flex and garden hose. The four rope ends pass through a cecton of Silo-Flex. Then the rope is paired up and pulled one pair to each side. The garden hose segment is then inserted inbetween the rope inside the Silo-flex. The hose holds the rope to the inside of the Silo-Flex keeping the segment in about the same place and the rope out from the center or the "chain".
