HC - Daily Tip #5 - PDA Love, Mobile Madness - Pick Ur CrazeMy "PDA Love" or "Mobile Madness" began with Smartphones and it quickly progressed. I purchased a Motorola Q about 2.5 yrs ago and i loved the keyboard, but that phone grew to be the biggest pain in my side with e-mail (seeing how i was pulling in about 1,200+ e-mails daily from multiple accounts). The phone crashed repeatedly and drove me to drink (almost). The only good thing about it was the fact that it would automatically sync my calendar, contacts, e-mail and so forth on the spot. But, the more e-mails I had, the less memory and therefore, a non-functioning PDA (with NO LOVE)!! Verizon, always the helpers, hooked me up with my first BlackBerry. I decided to go Global and selected the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition. PEOPLE!!! This phone is THE STUFF! Okay! Okay! So, I "caught wind" of the BlackBerry Storm and HAD to have it. I'm an idiot. Seriously. The clicking and touchscreen is a pain and i have little love for this gadget. If it didn't cost what it did, I'd chuck it out the window. Text messaging and emailing is the biggest thorn in my side ever. My life with this thing goes like this - "Click, Click, BackSpace, Scream, Click, Oh Forget It All. I'll Just Flippin Call The Person Already!!!" Get my drift?!?! If i didn't feel like such a fool, i'd go back and reactivate my 8830, MY DREAM.
