Searching for SusanSearching for Susan: The Lost Tale of a Daughter of Eve
A Theatre/Dance Inquiry
written, directed, and choreographed by Jason Tseng
Searching for Susan takes a deeper look into the world of Narnia, popularized by C.S. Lewis, and one of it's most controversial and discussed characters, Susan Pevensie. By the end of Lewis' series, we know that Susan is the only one of her siblings left on earth, because she "has grown too fond of lipstick, nylons... and party invitations." The play explores Susan's life after the books close, and by filling in the gaps in her narrative, reclaims her story. The play features dance and theatre throughout the work. There will be a reception and talkback with the artists after the 7:30pm March 30th performance, which is open to the public.
