Fan Fiction at Hen House Studioswww.HenHouseStudios.com
Born from the creative members of The Moops, Fan Fiction's foundation was layed in early 2002 by college students in Santa Cruz, CA. The Moops, featuring Davis and Grayson, recorded a six-song EP, 'Like You,' which charted on KZSC 88.1FM that May, and played to audiences of up to 300 in the Santa Cruz area. In the summer of 2002, they relocated to North Hollywood (adding Keith Boyarsky), and refined their sound, recording constantly and playing shows in Santa Barbara. By February of 2003, the band finished work on the self-produced five-song 'Naked' EP. They played to packed houses at Blake's on Telegraph in Berkeley, CA in February and March 2003, following with some time off to reform the band as Fan Fiction with a full lineup and new material in Southern California. The band became active again in December of 2003, when Dan Fulford joined on drums, as rehearsals focused on preparing for recording sessions at Henhouse Studios and upcoming gigs.-www.HenHouseStudios.com
