Flexplay was a limited-play scheme for DVD that thankfully didn't catch on. The discs were red and came sealed in an air-tight package. When you opened the package, the air started causing the red disc to slowly turn black, rendering it unplayable after about 48 hours. Of course, if the first place the disc goes is a computer, that's not much of a problem anymore!
The movie "Noel" was released exclusively on Flexplay, but is now available on regular DVD. This Flexplay disc opens with an FBI warning, then shows this clip and then the movie.

Sri Lanka's express fast bowler Lasith Malinga rocked the 2007 World Cup by claiming four wickets in four successive deliveries (including a hat-trick) but could not prevent South Africa from squeezing a tense 1 wicket victory in the Super Eight match at Guyana On Wednesday.
Malinga became the fifth bowler in World Cup history to claim a hat-trick. Malinga's deadly blow in the 45th over picked Shaun Pollock, whom he bowled for 13 and then followed it up by inducing a catch off Andrew Hall to Upul Tharanga to reduce the Proteas to 205 for 7. He then returned next over to claim the set Jacques Kallis caught behind for 86 and followed up next with a deadly yorker to remove Makhaya Ntini for naught.
His feat is unprecedented in ODI history for becoming the only bowler to claim four wickets in four balls, including a hat-trick.

Ana (Aitana Sanchez-Gijon) is a Spanish dealer in ersatz Mayan relics. Crossing the border between Texas and Mexico, she is taken in for questioning by Mendizabel (Jesus Ochoa), a sleazy border officer with a major jones for his captive. Eventually Ana is freed but she's destitute and soon hitching her way through Mexico. She's picked up by Aurelia (Tiare Scanda), a young mother who has run away from her drug dealer boyfriend Saul (Martin Altomaro), hoping to build a better life for her two children. Although Ana and Aurelia have little common ground -- Ana is aloof and sophisticated, while Aurelia is uneducated and practical -- the two women ultimately form a bond of solidarity and camaraderie that is put to the test when both Saul and Mendizabel catch up with them. Sin Dejar Huella was shown at the 2000 San Sebastian Film Festival, where it earned the title of "Thelmita y Luisita" in the Spanish press.
