002 Driving with DadWhen I was a child, my father was rather strict and he was not known for his playful nature. Whenever he would get into our car to go someplace, my siblings and I would always ask if we could go with him, and he would usually tell us no. On one hot summer day however, he surprised us. As we saw him approach the car that was parked in our driveway, we asked if we could come along. He said yes, and we couldn't believe it. Then we asked if some of our friends could also come with us. And much to our surprise, he agreed. This was way out of character for him. We all got into the car. There were 10 of us in total. We were all filled with a sense of adventure, as we had no idea where we were headed. It was a dream come true for us. My father started the engine. But instead of backing out of the drivewayhe proceeded to pull into the garage. At first we were disappointed, but then we all started to laugh as we got out of the car. My father ended up buying us all ice cream cones to make up for getting our hopes up. We still talk about it to this day. That's all for now. See you next time!
