Part 2b of a playthrough of Takara's Choro Q2 for the PSX. Part 2 covers the Tournament and an attempt at the Retro Courses. We now begin the meat and potatos of the game, the Tournament mode. Despite the fact that I don't grind up for all the best parts right at the beginning, I still manage to crush the tournament. I take first by a comfortable margin on the first pass, something I've never done before. In fact, the Tournament and the Cyber Track fall so easily that I'm left with some extra time here, so I decide to see if the Retro Courses are open yet. It turns out that they are, but attempting them at this point in the game is not wise - the computer cars are so much faster than I am that winning with my current parts is basically impossible, despite my best efforts.
