The family of Arelis has an old legend about a handsome young fairy who fell in love with a beautiful mortal woman many years ago. Their line would bear an extremely intelligent child with fairy abilities, yet still mortal. Queen Arelis, for some time, has been watching the little girl with impressive capabilities. She believes that Amanda is the descendant of her family's ancestor.
