State of the Left, and BeyondThe Political Action Committee of San Francisco’s Harvey Milk Club is hosting a Panel Discussion on the ‘State of the Left in San Francisco and Beyond’, on Tuesday March 1, 2011 at its usual PAC meeting. The meeting will be held at the LGBT Center at 1800 Market Street in San Francisco.
Panelists include:
~ Kim Corsaro, Editor and Publisher of the Bay Times;
~ Jeff Sheehy, Member of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Past Milk Club President, Co-Author of San Francisco’s Equal Benefits Ordinance and currently with the AIDS Research Institute at UCSF;
~ Tim Paulson, Executive Director of the San Francisco Labor Council and architect of Healthy San Francisco, the first of its kind Universal Health Care Program in the US;
~ Tiny, aka Lisa Gray-Garcia, Co-Founder and Editor of Poor Magazine, Poor News Network and author of ‘Criminal of Poverty ~ Growing Up Homeless in America’
~ Tim Redmond, Editor, San Francisco Bay Guardian
~ President of the Board of Supervisors David Chiu, Representing District 3
~ Supervisor John Avalos, Representing District 11
