For this third of three, I'm going to discuss depth. You've heard me mention depth before, and it's important in divination! What is depth? In the case of making food, it's the difference between the person who cooks hamburgers at a fast-food burger place and the chef at a five-star restaurant. The fast-food burger-flipper follow instructions. The chef knows the ingredients and their interactions well enough to be able to create something new. In divination, depth is the abiity to go beyond what you learn from a book or a teacher to being able to see for yourself, and preferably at several levels. It can apply to any form of divination. I've seen it in Runes, I've seen it in my pendulum, and it is obvious in Tarot. Let's look at a couple favorites of mine and see what comes immediately to mind. Technical issues prevented a Litha celebration, but here is a celebration to make up for that and perhaps even more. And there is a lesson to offer here which applies to all Sabbats and to life in general.
Did you ever notice that in the Wheel Of The Year, there each Sabbat is opposite a counterpart Sabbat. Litha is opposite Yule, and Lammas is directly opposite Imbolc, as two examples. And this has a special meaning for us.
If the lessons of all of the Sabbats were to be summarized in one word, that word would be: "Fulfillment". The Divine's promises are kept. There is no question of The Divine's will, The Divine's time, or any so-called "higher plan". Simply put, The Divine's promises are kept.
This offers comfort and healing to some of us, and assurance to all of us.

So let's take a look at how to upgrade your WordPress plugins automatically in your WordPress blog. The first thing you need to do is click on the plugins tab here, and just check all the currently installed WordPress plugins and see which ones need to be updated. In the list of your currently active plugins, and even for your inactive plugins, you'll be able to see if there's a new version of a particular plugin available, and it says here that A new version is available, and to upgrade automatically, all I need to do is click on this link here.
Now, WordPress is gonna ask me for some information on my web server namely the hostname, username, and password. So your hostname is usually ftp. your domain name, and your username is your cPanel log-in username, and your password is your cPanel password as well. Now, make sure you have chosen Connection Type as FTP and unless you have a secure FTP connection, then you can choose FTPS for SSL, which means it's secure socket layer. But for now, just choose FTP and click on Proceed.
And you can see that my plugin has been updated automatically. What happens is that WordPress first downloads the update from the WordPress plugin repository, and then it unpacks the update, it deactivates the older version of the plugin, it removes the older version of the plugin, and then it installs the latest version of the plugin. And finally, it reactivates your plugin if it's currently activated, and if it's not currently activated, then you'll be prompted for activation of the plugin, and that's how you automatically upgrade any existing plugins in your WordPress blog.

In this video, we're gonna take a look at how to edit your WordPress permalinks. Now, a permalink is simply the structure of your WordPress post and page URL that appears in the browser. To edit your permalinks, simply click on Settings, and you'll see here a link that says Permalinks click on that. And here, you would see that the default permalink for the WordPress blogs you're using looks something like this: http://www.yourdomainname.com/?p=, and the number of the WordPress posts, or page.
Now there's absolutely nothing wrong with leaving the permalink as it is by default, but if you want to optimize your blog for search engines and get more free traffic from such search engines, then you have to make your permalinks more search-engine friendly. And the other three options that are listed here by default are actually more search-engine friendly permalink structures.
So let's select the third one here that will display the month and name. So as you can see here, it would display the year, followed by the month, and then followed by the postname. But generally speaking, the year and the month number are pretty much redundant and it does not help you at all if search engine optimization is what you're concerned about. So you may want to delete this entire section here and leave only the postname permalink quotes. And then I'm going to scroll to the bottom and click on Save Changes.

Now if you have been blogging for a while and especially if you have left comments on someone else's blog, then you would notice that the comment usually has the image of the commenter associated with them; for example, as you can see here, some of the commenters actually have an image (that) automatically appears for every comment that they leave on other blogs, whereas for some other commenters, you would see a general-looking blank image here.
Now, these images are what they call gravatars or globally recognized avatars. And avatar, of course, is a popular term from forums and from games, which means a profile picture, if you wanna put it that way; but generally, by getting a gravatar, you standardize the image of you that appears across any blogs that you leave comments on.
To get a gravatar itself, you just need to go to Gravatar.com and right up here, click on Sign Up. And then you'll be asked for your primary email address. Now, it's important to remember that whenever you leave comments on other blogs, in order for your gravatar to show, you need to use the exact same email address every single time. However, another easier way to get a gravatar is actually to go to WordPress.com and click on Sign Up Now or you can click on the signup link above to get yourself a WordPress.com account. This is very useful because by creating a WordPress.com account, you'll be able to get a free blog at WordPress.com, and you'll also be able to get your WordPress API key, which you'll probably need to use in your Akismet spam plugin and in other applications as well.
