The first half of the film focuses on Arizona’s booming mine operations of the early 1900’s, with a great lesson on the early history of gold and silver mining in Arizona. Copper, gold, silver, mica, gypsum, silica, feldspar, clay, manganese, mercury, and coal mining operations in Tombstone, Ajo, Miami, Ray, Jerome, Magma, Duncan, Yuca and The San Francisco region are featured. From open-pit to underground, cave specific mining operations are shown, including the Eagle Pither, Iron King, Red Rover, Alvarado, Golden Turkey, Tom Reid, and the Producers. The second half of the film focuses on natural farming and the beauty of the Arizona landscape.
