The Little Rascals are one of the most successful and well known groups in film history. The Rascals were the first group to incorporate whites, blacks, males, and females in one group and treat them equally, breaking down a long standing barrier in cinema. Here in School’s Out, part of the Our Gang short film series, the Rascals are back and in school and worried about their teacher. Jackie is in love with Miss Crabtree, and when a man comes in from out of town to see her, he gets nervous. The jokes are nonstop, and the kids show surprising comedic abilities. At one point, Farina says, “I’m not getting married, and I’m raising my children the same way!” Showcasing the natural child acting that the series is famous for, School’s Out is another winner in the Little Rascals movie shorts.

Pinnacle Systems had a very impressive new product at CES Unveiled. The demonstrated their new "Video Transfer" product dubbed Press and Go. Press and Go is a very good term for this device and it is brilliantly simple to use. You can plug and Analog Video feed into it and encode real time into a Apple iPod, Sony PSP, USB Memory stick. They were playing a "Home DVD" ;) and encoded it real time into the Sony PSP, iPod, Memory Stick. While not the first product to do this Neuros has a device that will do similar thing the price point on this will definitely compete with Neuros.

Spotted this object about 10 miles south of Las Vegas, NV on December 27, 2007. Filmed and photographed with my Nokia N95. It was impossible to tell how large or how far away the object was, however it was an order of magnitude brighter than anything else in the sky. If you look carefully you can see stars very faintly in the background. You can use this as a reference point to see that it was the object and not the camera that was actually moving. I returned the following day at the same time to verify that what I was seeing was not some astronomical phenomenon and the object was not there. My first of two 2007 Christmas AMVs. Everybody seems to do this song at some point, but few people do it with Wolf's Rain and I think that's one anime that really suits it. The song is a symphonic rock mix of 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen' and the Ukranian Christmas carol, 'Carol of the Bells' -- performed by, of course, Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I'm not really especially pleased with this video, but it's not bad...other than a few flaws, I guess it's decent.
