Review:Quebec’s Auberge 4 Seasons;Hovey Manor-QTravel Video Review: Auberge Four Seasons. Four Seasons Inn, Orford, Canada
I’m Kaleel Sakakeeny with your Travel Video Review
There are many places to stay in the very French Eastern Townships of Canada.
About an hour east of Montreal, the Cantons de l‘Est as the Townships are called are dotted with attractive B and B’s and Auberges, or local inns.
For us the Auberge Four seasons in the tiny town of Orford was just perfect.
It’s a new 20 room lodge, very modest but well suited to the countryside…and very eco-friendly
It simply mixes comfort and techno; pillow top beds and chrome.
The slopes of Mt. Orford, are right next door so winter sports are very accessible from the inn as are the summer sports of biking and hiking and the charming towns and cultural attractions
Check out the Auberge’s bistro. It’s very popular, serving imaginative, very good cuisine rather well priced. Favorites are Roasted Rack of lamb with bitter chocolate and coffee infused sauce and the steamed mussels.
