At about 10 miles, away from the epicenter, the grass is greener, birds are singing, horses, in the distance are grazing together with camels - Itâs an idyllic picture. But yet, we are trying to walk around very carefully, not to lift any rocks, or just step too hard. The ground, around us, is still highly radioactive.
At about 11 miles away from the epicenter, we found a very nice looking lake, made with about 5 kilotons of TNT. It should be swimmable, of course radioactive, but still - without terrible premature death. It is about 600 ft deep, exact numbers are unknown, as there are caves at the bottom, going deep down into the earth...
According to the locals, sometimes shadows of about 10 meters in length pass at the depth. Locals believe it's some type of a fish. But no one tried to catch it yet...
