This is a documentary about two unemployed guys: Winston Ula (Arnold Gallows) and Graham Constable (Jake Sullivan) who decide to record their quest to find the Treasure at Twin Lakes. The high temp of the day was 65, and by the end the snow was really slushy and poor. As a result I found myself going down a hill I went down earlier in the day with no problem, but this time I ran into a few issues. First the snow was uneven/choppy, then very slushy/watery, then gone completely (just the ice cover). At this point I was going so fast (I couldn't slow down under the poor conditions) that I lost my balance and had a bad wipe out. I'm not exactly sure how I fell this time but I hit my head, my glasses flew off, and I broke a skii poll. I'm fine (just sore) but I had my HD camera in my pocket as I was filming earlier in the day (I'll most likely post a video of that soon too) and I must have fell on it because now the automatic lens cap tries very hard to open but never finishes, and as a result the camera is unusable at the moment :( ...

Known as the Redlegs, they are the direct descendants of the Scots transported to Barbados by Cromwell after the Civil War. Scottish author and broadcaster Chris Dolan went to meet them to discover why they are still here 350 years later, what they know about their roots, and what their prospects are today when they are the poorest community on the island. Chris speaks to leading historians in Barbados and Scotland about how their ancestors were treated when they first arrived. Was their plight as severe as that of the black slaves from Africa? Nearly two centuries after emancipation, this Redleg community has yet to find a role on the island, where it is damned by association with the days of slavery, even though many of its forbears were victims themselves. In recent years, it has begun to come out of its racial isolation; could there yet be a hopeful future for this lost Scottish tribe?

For those of you who don't know, Flash Flash Revolution (FFR) is a flash spin-off of Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) and if you don't know what that is, why would you be watching this? With FFR, much like some songs on Stepmania, you use the arrow keys instead of a dancing pad. I first started playing FFR about 2 1/2 years ago. I remember the first time I went to a song where there were so many arrows that they piled on top of each other. I thought to myself how I would never be able to move my fingers fast enough to hit them... and so far I'm right. Through tons of practice I've learned to avoid what I think is called "spamming the keys" to kinda of cheat my way through the more difficult songs. Although I can't keep up with the arrows in actuality, I've learned to guess where they will be by looking ahead. Sometimes, they appear in a pattern and I don't even need to think, just move my fingers to match the pattern. I make educational guesses whose educational value is inversely proportional to the number of arrows appearing on the screen at once. I dunno if that counts as spamming, but I certainly don't mindlessly smash keys as fast as I can... that is unless I'm desperate... This video is a recording of me playing through some FFR in the Classic section, which is filled by classic pieces by musicians such as Beethoven and Chopin or remixes of those classics. The very last song in this video I did blind. The only reason the song was pre-loaded when I selected it was due to the fact I had tried it once before and lost in about five seconds because I was overwhelmed. I cut that bit and left in the bit where I knew what was coming. It's still pretty dodgy all the way through. I really didn't know my fingers could move that quickly. My voice is not included because I thought it would take away from the music.
