In 1976 the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine hijacked a commercial airplane heading to France from Israel. They took the plane to Entebbe Airport in Uganda where they separated all the Jewish and Israeli passengers and threatened to kill them if Israel did not give in to their demands. Israel sent in a secret undercover unit into the airport where they shot up the terrorists and freed the prisoners. The surprise rescue mission was led by Lieutenant Yoni Netanyahu, the only soldier killed during the mission. The success of the mission called Operation Thunderbolt lead to books and movie being made of the rescue and Yoni Netanyahu's being hailed as a hero. For more visit http://www.IsraelNationalRadio.com
After spoofing disaster films in Airplane!, police shows in The Naked Gun, and Hollywood horrors in Scary Movie 3 and 4, producer David Zucker sets his satirical sights on the superhero genre with this anarchic comedy lampooning everything from Spider-Man to X-Men and Superman Returns. Craig Mazin writes and directs a cast ranging from Leslie Nielsen, Marion Ross, Jeffrey Tambor and Brent Spiner.
I realized Prokofiev's 8th Piano Sonata sounds pretty scary doing this.
But rethinking about it, I've always found Pokofiev's Peter and the wolf to be pretty scary too :)
My camera is broken but I really started to miss making some videos so I started to dig in old material and this older piano recording. The mountains you see are for sure the Alps, but I can't remember where I was flying to so I don't know exactly in which country.
If someone knows how to film from an airplane with a cheap camera without having this overwhelming blue color I would be happy to hear it.
As usual I am very thankful to my wife Marina Scalafiotti for agreeing to use this live recording of Prokofiev's 8th Sonata (recorded somewhere in France, about 7 years ago).
As for most piano musics played by Marina and used on videos you can download the MP3 (full 24 minutes in this case) on her site http://www.marinascalafiotti.com/prokofiev/prokofiv-sonata-8/
Thanks for watching & listening etc. etc :)

Are they friends or foes? Sometimes it's hard to tell. Rick's a cynic. He doesn't like airplane food, commuter flights, or returning to the States after a trip to Prague. Dave is an optimist.
With WiFi and Mobile accessibility coming to the friendly shies of your favorite airline, will the line for the bathroom get even longer. This is a unique film documenting British troops delivering goods to a Greek city. It includes beautiful footage of mountain terrain and planes flying in formation. Supplies are dropped from the planes and paratroops glide to the ground. British troops then socialize with Greek people on the ground.
