Why-I-Hate-The-Big-Bang-Theory-Sock-Puppet-AccountBig Bang Theory may be the most popular U.S. sitcom and also in many other parts of the world. But, the Canadian TV Legend Ed the Sock is here to defy it by telling you reasons why he hates the show. Firstly, if you see that anything is popular among the people then this certainly doesn’t prove that it is good too. Then, the sitcom is basically a geek blackface perpetuating the plot that geeks are to be laughed at because they are socially awkward, unfashionable, only like to sit in each other’s company, are bad with women and have made sci fi not a hobby, rather a lifestyle. Why there is a sitcom based on all negative nerds stereotypes? Now, from the cast, we see that Howard Wolowitz pretends to be a physically weak, cerebral, sexually frustrated yet sexually neutered funny person which is simply absurd. The Indian nerd, Raj Koothrappali has the same qualities as that of Howard. Sheldon Cooper has all the characteristics of a Hollywood Gay character but actually he is not a gay. Jim Parsons has also acted just like Hollywood Gay actor acts but actually, he too is not a gay. Penny, has no last name and is just like an object of nerd boy lust. It looks like good looking girls cannot be smart and hence can’t have a part in comic books. Now, what does Leonard Hofstadter want? A girl from a non-geek world to fall in love for him! And the character of Amy Farrah Fowler, like a Ms. Pacman. She has same traits as nerd blackface. All the other characters Bernadette Rostenkowski, Johnny Galecki , Kaley Cuoco, , Simon Helberg, Sara Gilbert, Melissa Rauch, Mayim Bialik, Kunal Nayyar, Leslie Winkle, Chuck Lorre, CBS are some mere examples of TV stereotypes!
