Toledo Rotary 01142013.mp4Kathy Carroll and Dick Anderson—The Relevance and Impact of Our Resident Professional Orchestra on the Region Kathy Carroll, President and CEO of the Toledo Symphony, and dick Anderson, Chairman of the Toledo Orchestra Association, will present a look beyond traditional orchestral performances to the TSO’s significant partnership with the region as teacher and community builder . Ms. Carroll is entering her 25th season with the orchestra, never as a musician, always as an advocate for the value of this cultural resource. Since 1970, she has devoted herself to communication and resource development for healthcare, education, public television and radio and musical arts. Kathy is a member of the Rotary Club of Toledo since 1989, thanks to Clint Mauk.
As leader and spokesperson for the Toledo Symphony Board of Trustees, composed of more than 50 community leaders from across the region, Mr. Anderson has devoted his efforts to sharing his love of music and the musicians of the orchestra while providing strategic direction for the financial sustainability of this magnificent cultural asset. Dick is Past President and Honorary Member of Rotary Club of Toledo in addition to serving as a Toledo Rotary Foundation Past Chairman. He is Chairman Emeritus of The Andersons.
