A 9-1-1 call Friday of a burglary-in-progress at 210 Wild Oak Road SE resulted in the arrest of a suspect by Bradley County Sheriff's deputies. The caller gave personnel in the communications center a description of the suspect and the vehicle he was driving.
School Resource Officer Nathan Headrick at Valley View Elementary School heard the call and responded. On Keith Valley Road he spotted a vehicle fitting the description and followed it into a driveway in the 800 block.
The suspect, Mitchell Lee Cross, 30, of Etowah, was taken into custody without incident.

Sunday night was the premiere of the highly anticipated surf documentary Bustin' Down the Door. The line of locals waiting to get a seat stretched all the way through the courtyard of the Arlington Theatre and down the block - to date, the longest line we've seen at this year's SBIFF.
We managed to snag interviews with director, Jeremy Gosch, and surf icons Shaun Tomson and Rabbit Bartholomew. The surf community has waited a long time for this film, let's see what the buzz was about!

This story was when Mr. Dan Del Rosario was only a little Elementary school student
Story: Every year, at the end of the year, there is always a race among the different classes in the school, at the end of the day, there is a relay race with NINE people NINE!!! that's a 3600, each person runs 1 whole lap around 1 4oo track. so then, the top nine people in each class, which included mr. del wanted to win so bad that year because it was their year to graduate, but this one particular student (name forgotten) has earned himself the nickname (aardvark) after he recieved the baton, he constantly fell and tripped and got his team wayyy behind.
Mr. del said "we ran the fastest we had ran in our lives"
but they still lost
and to recreate that childhood moment now that Mr. Del is a Math Teacher, his 2nd block and 4th block had decided to make this past alive again.
It's our annual Beer, Football, and Sex episode, totally by coincidence:
British blasphemy (We're in favor of it!)
The Anglican Church on the Chopping Block
What Beer Would Jesus Steal?
Sexual Healing Baths
Hookers for Jesus
I asked my mother to tell the story behind some of the rugs she made. I shot this in D1 quality but at a lower frame rate.
One is a rug she made from her mother's old coats.
Another is a rug she made of her old dresses
A third is one she made of her old bathrobes (I remember going shopping with my father to buy her those!)
She also discusses a bit of the technique of doing color block rows.
Ron Block (from Allison Krauss and Union Station) shares about the leaf of faith he took in creating his solo album, and the importance of Galatians 2:20 in his life.

Stair-climbers James, Jo and Pete risk their lives by trying to reach
the third floor. It's a story of guts and sacrifice; a story of
genuine heroes who don't know the meaning of the word 'lift' - or do
they? Thanks to the brilliant Michael Wright who wrote and directed
the whole bloomin' thing, and to Partizan London who kindly produced it.
Director Michael Wright lovingly recreated this famous story of a
harrowing climb to the 3rd floor of an office block. James is played
by Rob Whitelock, Pete by Euan Wilson and the tragic character of Jo
is played by Amy Whitehouse. The hugely atmospheric music was written
by Michael Mertens and the video was produced and post-produced by
Partizan London. Thankfully, no cast or crew were injured during the
making of this hazardous video.

The best time of day to workout depends a lot on you as an individual. The thing to remember is to make your workout an appointment with yourself and then keep it. A good time of day to workout will be a time when you don’t feel rushed. For some people that might be in the morning before they get started with their day, but you might find your workout might could also be a good whined down from a long day. What you want to remember is that your workouts, if consistent, will make you look and feel better and thus make you more productive.
There’s nothing more frustrating than starting to workout and then being interrupted. If you treat your workout like you would treat an appointment with a client and physically block a time out in your schedule, you’ll find it is easier to keep that appointment. Let the people you work with and friends know that you are blocking out a certain time for your workouts and have them encourage you to keep those appointments with ...
