Animator Cam Christiansen gives Texas-born playwright John Murrell's imagination free rein, suspending the laws of time and space to create a visual accompaniment to his flights of poetic fancy. Despite its more fantastic elements, Murrell's work is grounded in a profound appreciation for the real. History and place play a critical role in his work, where everyone from Sarah Bernhardt to Walt Whitman puts in an appearance. But behind the spectacle, the mask, and the play itself, is a man happily creating his own world. This film was produced for the 2008 Governor General's Performing Arts Award.

http://www.121personnelservices.com Some people may be put off by the $1500 price tag of a Philips defibrillator, but this is an important piece of rescue equipment especially if you and your loved ones are at risk of cardiac arrest. The life-saving function of the device is priceless compared to the amount you will pay. But this alone won't save you. Knowledge on how to deal with emergency situations as well as how to perform CPR are also needed to be able to save lives.

People over 50 are the most likely to need CPR for cardiac arrest. And they probably won't buy you dinner first. Are you ready for your first time doing CPR? If someone has a cardiac arrest you should give CPR as quickly as possible. Even if it's your first time doing CPR, it's better than nothing. Remember to call 000 then begin compressions. You should aim for 2 compressions a second and compress their chest 1/3 or 5cm while giving CPR.
An infant is a patient who is under one year of age. If the baby is unresponsive and not breathing but has a brachial pulse, rescue breathing should be performed at a rate of one breath every three seconds for about a minute. After a minute, reassess the patient for breathing and check for a pulse. If there is no pulse present, begin CPR on the infant.
http://www.ProCPR.org The only fear that rescuers should be afraid of is the fear of an unsafe scene. Do not become another patient yourself. Make sure, if you're going to enter an area to rescue someone, that the surrounding area is safe enough, so that you don't become another victim. Do not allow the four illegitimate fears to stop you from helping someone in need.
http://www.ProCPR.org Most students who are required to attend a CPR class are very reluctant to attend. The primary reason for this reluctance is due to fear. People tend to have five fears related to rescue.
5. Fear of Disease:
This fear has been around for some time, and can be solved by ordering a Key-Ring or other accessible CPR shield and protective gloves. That way, you're always prepared for the worst of circumstances.
4. Liability:
Since the 1985 Good Samaritan Act, there have been No recorded cases against a Good Samaritan since 1985. Don't be afraid to try to save a life in need of saving. You cannot hurt someone that is already in danger of dying by doing SOMETHING to save their lives. Even Hands-Only CPR is good for something.
3. Unsure of Skills:
Understanding that CPR only slows down the progress from clinical death to biological death, will not stop it! We know any number combination during rescue breaths to compressions will help buy time for EMS to use an AED and ALS to administer ...
