COACH (1978) MOVIE REVIEW SPORTS COMEDY CATHY LEE CROSBY MICHAEL BIEHN KEENAN WYNNThe Stallions basketball team of Granger High School have been on a losing streak of late, and the principal, Fenton Granger (Keenan Wynn) is none too pleased. He fires the coach, and when an applicant named Randy Rawlings (Cathy Lee Crosby) materialises, Granger decides to hire Rawlings immediately, as the applicant is a 2 time Olympic medalist in long distance running. There wouldn't be a problem, except that Granger is a sexist bigot of the highest order (the dummmy thought Randy is only a male's name!), and bound by the contract, he begrudgingly allows Rawlings to coach the team. At first, she is put through a gauntlet of sexist teasing by the embryos she is charged to coach, but soon, those same kids become impressed with her knowledge of the game.
