SMOOV Appointed by Megatron, Shockwave is the Guardian of Cybertron. One of his most important jobs is to guard the Decepticon Spacebridge. Shockwave displays several inadequacies: he moves slow, has horrible aim, overconfidence, bored with his existence, and harbors undying loyalty towards Megatron, causing him enormous stress and pressure to perform. Regardless of his track record of incompetence, Megatron seems to give him preferential treatment. Could it be that Shockwave may actually be Megatron's "friend?" Or does Megs keep him up there to keep him out of the way? Leading a boring existence on permanent "guard duty," with nobody to talk to except for Decepticon worker droids, Shockwave occasionally gets "slammed" by intruders and has to step up his game. Seems like everything always happens at once for poor Shockwave; always catching him off guard. Plus...he really can't shoot for shit.

I love it, we’ve gone two issues straight with out even a peak at the autobots so you know they’ve got to be coming soon. This book is so good and even as the nostalgia is wearing off the writing is coming through and the book is still holding my interest. The part of this issue I found really interesting was the dynamic between Negatron and Starscream. Negatron definitely lets Starscream know where his place is but hints that he is disappointed Starscream isn’t more. Negatron says he is living the Decepticon Ideal but is merely a step away fro ...

The purpose of the decepticon attack is revealed, I think, Optimus and the Autobots learn the location of the Allspark, the Autobots reveal what's at stake if they don't stop Megatron's evil plan, Megatron is revealed to Sam and Hottie #1, Frenzy finally wakes up and finds the All Spark and Megatron, calls the decepticons and they all radio to each other that they're on the way!

Sam and the Autobots fight Sector Seven, Bumble Bee is captured, Optimus gets the glasses, the Decepticon Spide Virus shuts down global communications and Sector Seven show the Secretary of State the Mars Rover pictures.
