In the Ramayan, Ahalya is cursed by her husband, sage Gautama and turned into stone when Lord Indra disguises himself as her husband and seduces her. The message of this re telling is that she was not to be punished for her "infidelity" in the first place. The point here is that Lord Indra (in the form of the inspector here) was the only person deserving of punishment, absolving the historic Ahalya of her "sin" and restoring her innocence. The director concludes by instead turning Indra to stone.

Physical immortality... immortality of the human soul... innate immortality... can it truly be gained by human beings! Is immortality a function of the ephemeral mortal world! What do we really mean when we talk of becoming immortal in this very world! Did Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed gain immortality in their lifetime?

The stage of enlightenment can only be reached when full awakening of kundalini occurs... never before! This is a 50-meter-tall temple devoted to the enlightenment of Siddhartha Gautama, the historical Buddha, in Bodhgaya, Bihar, India. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site, also. I went to Bodhgaya with a couple of friends on January 22, 2008.
