Improv Jam on a 21-string Chinese Zither - No Overdubs!
Bradley Fish - Session Musician, Producer & Music Coach via the web!
This is a funny improv of us playing this game where everyone is acting out their cards at once and the goal is to match what someone else is doing. You'll see LOTS of missed chances in this fun video.
Afew disclaimers - I wanted to demonstrate afew faster licks over a G Minor Progression we looked at earlier today at http://videoguitarlessons.guitarvoice.com
This is just an improv centering around the scale G Minor. It's meant to demonstrate some licks and give an example of those upto tempo. It is NOT a solo, not meant to be a solo and should not be mistaken for a solo.
Connie Bryan interviews her hero, comedy and improv legend Jonathan Winters, on her cable tv comedy show in Santa Barbara.
Mr. Winters gives her his endorsement/stamp of approval, and talks about his opinions regarding the direction of comedy in showbusiness today. (For those too young to know who Jonathan Winters is, he is Robin Williams admitted mentor, the Father of Comic Improv and character impersonations back in the 50's and 60's).

Dealing with overbearing management is a challenge at any work place, but at this button factory you also need to be good at math.
Inspired by an improv scene with Jarrod Bates and Justin Glover from the Lab Rats.

At the Lord Buckley '07 Birthday Bash David Amram performs a elongated version of his and Jack Kerouac's song PULL MY DIASY.
The audience involvement and improv lyrics before the song begins are an example of Amram's beat/jazz sensibility.

this is an improv by the tone-deaf guy who majorly regrets not going on vacations w/ex-wife or girlfriend...also he is angry at Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four...he feels that Richards has betrayed Ben Grimm. A very twisted thing that is hallucinatory

This is a warm up for the song Wall Dreams. It was an improv that turned into the song Twilight Zone by Golden Earring. We thought we'd put this up as well as Wall Dreams.
This song is not even 3 and 1/2 minutes on the album. This is quite a different performance. It is basically a rough improv with an opening of Kate Bush's Waking the Witch and the outro is the song White Wolf from the album. You can hear the original version on the myspace profile.
Michael and Jesse just completely improvised with this. They went with the flow, never practiced or wrote it before. They played for like 10 minutes, I just caught the second half. Michael is on the guitar and Jesse is on the drums.
