Behavior Management Strategies that make learning funThe Project Hydroplanes Racing Program (PHRP) of Ha Learning Strategies, Inc. is the alternative teaching strategy designed to integrate math, science, and literacy, aligned with state and national standards, in a format thaalternative t makes learning fun and exciting. Through this program, students who initially complained of boredom in school went on to exhibit great interest in learning. This, we discovered, was due to their interest in the creative aspect of hydroplane design and racing presented to them through this hands-on academic method. Constructivist philosophy is at the foundation of the PHRP curriculum, and it utilizes project-based instruction to enhance the learning experiences of students while preparing them for the real world.
