Hilarious, mysterious, and enchantingly clever, The Ghost Walks is one of the best vintage murder mysteries ever made. Director Frank Strayer takes a shoestring budget and produces a fantastic film thanks to a brilliant script and a talented cast. John Milijan stars as an up and coming playwright who wants to encourage his producers by surprising them in a haunted house with a bunch of actors to frighten them. However, a real murder occurs, leaving everyone in the cast a suspect. Ingeniously, the film now has a reasonable purpose for being in a spooky old house full of odd characters that can’t trust each other. Then The Ghost Walks gets even better as the surprising and absurdly funny twists and turns begin. Not to be missed, The Ghost Walks is a benchmark murder mystery.

It's just begging for another season. ---------- For any who are wondering the anime at the end it "Himitsu: The Revelation" I've seen two eps so far and it's pretty interesting. Another murder mystey kind of thing. With people that have several secrets. Like a brother that's crazy in love with his sister. Or a woman that loves her ex-boyfriend more than her husband and daughter. But there are morals and reasons. It's a pretty good show. Check it out.

Double Exposure is a quirky, tart, and enchanting little action comedy. Also a quaint look at gender roles in the forties, the film starts with a kooky newspaper editor who accidentally hires a woman, much to his dismay! Crisp, biting dialogue punctuates memorable interactions between the fiery characters. But the film also includes some thrilling action sequences, as common office politics get overshadowed by kidnap and murder. But never taking itself too seriously, Double Exposure keeps its amused and pleasant edge throughout the rollercoaster of action. Double Exposure is a splendid example of why sometimes simpler is better.
