Tero beats GBA Megaman Zero Part 1Part 1 of a full playthrough of Capcom's Megaman Zero for the GBA. Game completed on Ultimate mode with no deaths and no save states.
Megaman Zero is next in the long line of Mega Man franchises from Capcom, this one takes place following Megaman X and stars Zero, who has inexplicably recieved a total makeover.
In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that the "Ultimate" mode in this game is a bit of a misnomer, the one who is ultimate here is Zero, not the enemies. This mode starts Zero off fully powered up, with all of the permanent cyber elves active and all of his weapons powered up to the maximum level. This is effectively akin to playing on God Mode, apart from falling into pits there's really no way you can die.
I chose to do this on this mode for two reasons. First of all, it's much faster, this game would otherwise require a fair bit of grinding which would not be very fun to watch. Secondly, I can play much more aggressively in this mode, which I think is more interesting. I'm still trying to play well and keep my rank up, though you can't hold an S rank the whole time without farming baddies on some of the stages, which I don't do in the interests of time.
It's also kind of interesting to see just how vast the difference in difficulty between no cyber elves (which is required to unlock this mode) and full cyber elves is.
"So, you'll only be happy if X does not exist? I'll take care of that. Just tell me where he is."
