Bill and Tom buy a former dance hall in Springfield, Illinois and after much renovation reopen it as a live rock 'n roll club. The customers in 1974 love the historic place, but the staffers feel differently. Music seems to emanate from nowhere and chilling blasts of air frighten the owners and crew after hours. One bartender has direct contact with a threatening spirit that informs her that one of the owners is soon going to die. Through old photographs, she identifies him as a troubled former bartender who had committed suicide on the premises.

Dateline: Springfield, IL My first attempt to meet Barack and my first political rally. Wow! Everything's coming up roses, even though they're frozen. The weather may be below zero, but Barack heated things up with his big announcement. He's going to be President. Yeah, I'm sure you all know that by now, but there are things you probably didn't know, like you should show up early because otherwise you may end up staring at a cameraman's butt. We all know Barack's going to need a running mate. How about Citizen Kate? Me as the first female running mate. Note to self: You need to do something big to be noticed in Politics.

Dateline: Springfield, IL. This is it! We're going to meet Barack Obama. I can't wait to propose Barack and Citizen Kate in 2008. I wonder if he's sitting around with a flower thinking,"Should I run? Shouldn't I run?" It helps to get some direction in life. Too bad I have no idea where I'm going. Note to self: Politics is not for the lost.

Dateline: Springfield, IL Finally. The morning of Barack's big announcement. It took me all night to assemble the perfect outfit. He can't help but notice Citizen Kate in my Juicy shoes and skirt. Note to self: Politics can be cold. And Juicy Couture doesn't cut it in ten below zero.

Dateline: Springfield, IL Political life is as sweet as pancakes. My first night in Springfield, I learned big time politicians eat, drink, kiss and dance. I'm really good at that. Get ready for Kate, America! Tomorrow, I get to meet Barack Obama at his announcement. He's so close. I can smell him. He kinda smells like my pancakes. Yum!
