It’s time for battle of the emo bands! Who is the most emo band right now? Let’s compare and contrast some popular bands and rate their emo-ness. First up is AFI. If a name like A Fire Inside is not emo then I don’t know what is. They are also an older band so they cannot be considered poseurs trying to be emo. Their hair and clothing display a brooding inner sensitivity. I give AFI a score of Four emo tears. Next we have Good Charlotte. This is a tricky one. They may have some people fooled into thinking they are emo with their flicky hair, make up, and tattoos, but what emo would date Hilary Duff followed by Nicole Richie? So not emo. I give them one emo tear. Panic! At the Disco is definitely an emo band. Their circus meets clockwork orange image and long song titles like, I write Sins not tragedies earn them four emo tears. Sci Fi classic A Boy and His Dog is a 1975 post-apocalyptic science fiction film directed by L. Q.
