Descent was developed by Parallax Software and published by Interplay in 1995. This was one of the first games to have 3D models for enemies and the player character. The game gave the player six axises of freedom; essentially, one can move throughout the game as though one were in a weightless environment

Caught up in a harsh world of violence and despair, Anna escapes into her mind to try to erase the pain. However even in this fantasy world, there is something pulling against her, dragging her into the undertow.
