This is what the office may have looked like if it were produced in the 80's. I used Vegas Pro 10 with the help of the video stabilisation filter, a shit load of it! :) the vhs effect was also made with Vegas.

These are some home movies from the Gilliam Family that were converted to VHS.

Just before summer in 1983, Jim Gabbert's KTZO TV-20 invited Lowell High School to appear on "Dance Party". KFRC DJ's Bill Lee and Lowell Grad Sandra Louie hosted the show which featured the Lowell Varsity Cheerleaders and the Drama Club. Yes, it's a sea of retro-80's red and white fashion so prepare to be mortified. Commercials are included because they provide context and perspective for those glorious times. Transferred from an old archived VHS (which hadn't yet become mainstream back in 1983).

Well, this is the final product of my hard labor for the past few days. I decided to stop because it was frustrating me to no end with various things, I wanted it to be much, much better but that's not going to happen at this time. I think that for every second used for a song in video editing equals 10 minutes and each special effect equals 5 mins so I spent an estimated 35 hours on this video for the past 3-5 days. As for the credits. I got stuff from various sources mostly on You Tube so I will need to hunt them down and I will post them here as well as in the video. This is from my VHS collection, I recorded it in 1985. It features interviews with several Japanese voice actors including Reiko Muto (the voice of Casshan's mother, as well as Marvelous Melmo), Jo Tatsuya (the narrator from Yokai Ningen Bem) and Kazuo Kumakura (who sang the original opening theme to GeGeGe no Kitaro).

I and another student were the main producers of the show which aired during lunch on the TV's located around the school. This guy was supposed to be sending me a whole show on VHS, but when the tape came to me he'd cheaped out and tried to stuff the whole thing on a 10min tape recorded at EP! So all I've got is the first half of what I know to be a half-hour show. Oh, well at least I got the opening with its great theme song! It's an interesting twist on Hoverboy's origin that was probably proposed by the HUAC. "The animation is crude, but effective, in a kitchy kind of way... No surprise to those who recognize the style that individuals working on this show went on to work on late '60's animated fare such as SPIDERMAN and ROCKET ROBIN HOOD."
