Set in the near future, the movie follows Cindy and her friends, who are all obsessed with the latest product from toy giant Megatoy: a live-action role-playing game (LARP) simply called âThe Pony Game.â
Like many young adults who have extended their childhood, Cindy, Donna and the group freely mix sex, drugs and fantasy role-playing into a weird, childlike playâ¦and an intense rivalry over boy-toy Randy. These kids, however, take their fantasy very seriously.
When Cindy wins the Megatoy essay contest and the group gets to star in their own documentary about the Pony Game, Cindy and Donnaâs rivalry becomes a total war for control of the groupâ¦and the film!
Meanwhile, clueless documentary filmmakers Bob and Dave become unwitting pawns â and victims â of Donnaâs obsessive need to control her friends, the movieâ¦and Megatoy itself. What's at stake? Only all of reality as we know it!

Albright (Curtin) is getting fed up with the fact that Dick -- and the rest of the Solomons, for that matter -- are "weird." "It's like being around the Addams Family," she moans. So Dick sets out to make his brood "average," and succeeds so completely that Albright finds him boring.

The Message, which seeks nothing less than to tell the story of the origins of Islam. Originally released in the U.S. as Mohammad, Messenger of God, the film has the appeal of most biblical epics: persecuted true believers, a revolutionary prophet scorned by the powers-that-be, and the miraculous triumph of faith. Muhammad Akkad had one major hurdle; he couldn't portray the person or voice of Mohammad himself, as such things are traditionally forbidden in Islam. This presents an interesting narrative challenge. Akkad had characters address the camera-as-Mohammad, or having disciples step out of Mohammad's tent to repeat what the prophet has just said. It's a weird device, but the surprising thing is how often you forget about it.
Minimoni's PV for their Ai~n! Dance no Uta song. Minimoni, Bakatono, what else could you ask for? Interesting side note: Once, while doing the PV for this song, Yaguchi asked Bakatono what was the matter because he was acting weird and he said, "I'm a little drunk..."

Azumanga Daio is originally serialized in a very popular "Electric Shock Daio" manga. The story revolves around high school girls. Each main characters have colorful and attractive personality for comic fans, such as gifted 10 years old highschool girl, cool highschool girl, natural highschool girl, highschool girl with glasses and weird older teachers. Based on four panel comic, each episode is rather short around five minutes.
Azumanga Daio also appeared as a short online movie, know as Azumanga Web Daio. Apparently they were also giving out free DVD of a short movie in March and April edition of Dengeki Daio magazine.
