Logging is frequently allowed in sensitive areas, even in watersheds that provide our drinking water, and taxpayers are footing the bill for forest destruction to the tune of millions of dollars every year. Bark is a grassroots organization based in Northwest Oregon that works to preserve the forests, waters and wildlife of Mt. Hood National Forest and surrounding regions.
