This report is about the youth exchange activity in South Lebanon to bridge the gaps between young people in different countreis, with participation of Lebanon, Greece, Finland and Palestine.
The Palestinian girl was describing the carrcateur character "Hanzala" and what it means to Palastinians .. Eleni from HAI Greece, despite of her concern about all the troubles in her country (as the report says) she's also interested to spread the culture of peace and how other nations should reach the best use of democacy, as people in Europe are also fighting everyday for the same values of democracy as well!
Then they moved to a TV interview with the president of the Lebanses NGO "Amel" asking him if they found any difficulties in making this activity come true, he said that mainly Arabs go to the west for such activities but in this one we care to bring friends from Greece and Finland under the title "Meet our cultures" to recognize the current situation in Lebanon and Palestine specially after the Israeli attack on 2006 and it was a very successful meeting and how supporting was the Greeks and Finnish to our case, specially that a Finnish officer was killes in that attack on 2006 which was very touching for all the groups participating ..
We have to continue such meetings and activities for how useful and supportive to bridge the gap among different countries specially young generations ..
She asked him why don't u involve younger kids or older people in such effevtive activities, he said yes we are about to make another organization for youngesters between 15 - 18 of age coordinating with Portugal for coming common activities.
