It’s percussive, that’s for sure. Often times it replaces the 2 and the 4 beat to get him syncopated, and sometimes (but only sometimes), it’s better than sex. Gotta love that passion.

Marco, Mike Gordon, Joe Russo, and Bryce Goggin came together in 2006 to record six tracks for Trey Anastasio’s album, Bar 17. Marco liked the recording space and the energy between himself and the producer, and the relationship developed from there.
