Cragside is a NT property in Rothbury Northumberland . It was built by Lord Armstrong the industrialist and was the first ever house to have electricity, due to it's own plant designed by Lord Armstrong. His friend Swan develeoped the electris light bulb.
2004 holiday in Burgundy France. Staying at the Gate House and visiting Noyer, Vezerlay, Chablis, Flavigny-sur Ozerain where the film "Chocolat" was made. Shot with Sony DCR PC5E & edited with Pinnacle Studio 9.
A NT Property 10 minutes from my home. The Priory was built by monks (not sure which) and had an incredible flush toilet system.The grounds have a marvelous display of snowdrops.
