Here is the quick clip of how its done. Btw. That was a disgusting bog. It smelt terrible, made all our cuts and scapes burn and just generally was unpleasant.

http://www.tastytrek.com On the beach south of Wanganui, Landey finds a whole lot of grubs...and DM tastes them. We thought they were Huhu grubs (a maori delicacy) they're actually plain old grass grubs we find out now. And they don't taste good!

http://www.tastytrek.com Here we are on the Whanganui River. We decided to do a longer canoe trip and took a canoe and kayak for 8 days from Taumarinui to Wanganui. On day two it rained loads and the river flooded 10 meters.

http://www.tastytrek.com On our crossing of the Tongariro volcanic fields (the Tongariro Crossing) we took a detour up Mount Ngauruhoe aka Mt. Doom.
