On November 5th, Garfield (Los Angeles, CA) hosted Roosevelt (Boyle Heights, CA) in the 2010 East LA Classic. In a hard fought game, Garfield came out with the win against Roosevelt, 13-3.
On October 23rd, LA Baptist (North Hills, CA) hosted rival, Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA) in the 2010 Bible Bowl. Village Christian defeated LA Baptist, 56-19.
On Friday, October 15th, Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA) hosted crosstown rival, Royal (Simi Valley, CA). In a highly competitive game, Royal emerged the victor over Simi Valley, 27-18.
On Friday, September 17th, Narbonne HS (Harbor City, CA) played against LB Poly (Long Beach, CA) in one of the most competitive games of the 2010 season, thus far. LB Poly narrowly pulled out the victory, 23-20.

As a Junior LB, Tyler Tilton helped John Burroughs HS achieve a Pacific League Title in 2009. He earned All-Pacific League 2nd Team Honors for his consistent play. Tyler made 41 tackles, 1 sack, and recovered 2 fumbles.
Steven Escoboza, a Junior OL/DL, helped John Burroughs HS attain another Pacific League Championship in 2009. With his dominating play, Steven was an All-Pacific League selection as well as made the Burbank Times All-Area Team.
Cornerback/Wide Receiver, Matthew Volland, of John Burroughs H.S. helped them achieve a 2009 Pacific League Championship Title. His versatile and disciplined play was invaluable to the team over the course of the 2009 high school football season.
As a Junior in 2009, Running Back/Wide Receiver, Jesse Lira of Roosevelt H.S. gained 1,757 total yards and scored 16 touchdowns. His play earned him All-CIF L.A. City Section and All-Eastern League Honors.
On June 18th and 19th, Saugus Head Football Coach, Jason Bornn, and Saugus HS hosted its annual Saugus "Under the Lights" Passing League Tournament. The tournament had 24-teams participating from the CIF Southern Section and CIF LA City Section.
