On the 21st of July 2006 at Wireless Japan, DoCoMo and Microsoft joined forces to produce the hTc Z- a "smart" phone which runs Windows natively. Complete with touch screen, QWERTY keyboard,and PDA functionality it has recently been released worldwide. We took it for a test run.

That also meant that an entire nation, based on one pronouncement, ventured out squinty-eyed into the bright world of having fun. BUT imagine this had never happened...if you can't, this video does a depressingly good job for you.
