How many times have we backed away from who we are because of peer pressure? It is not easy to be Muslim these days. And yet, she proudly wears her hijab everyday while working at a high profile Fortune 1000 company in Mountain View, California. it wasnât always this easy.
In this episode, Mahin talks about what it was like to wear the hijab for the first time at age 14 and how she struggled with the American image of beauty while growing up.
