A spy video from the factory that produces the Diamond 12CSL.
The Diamond 12CSL is a unique 12mm Swiss-type lathe. It features integrated main and subspindles for minimal vibration, a very unique B-axis that is capable of rotating 360 degrees for angular operations, and has dual-Y capabilities for pinch turning operations.
This video showcases the machine axes in motion, but there is no actual cutting.
The Diamond 42CSL is a huge 42mm, 10-axis Swiss-type lathe that's capable of very complex operations on large parts. This machine has Dual-Y capabilities that allow for the two tools to be cutting the same workpiece simultaneously. The 12-station VDI turret is capable of holding up to 4 B-Axis units. Each B-Axis unit can rotate a complete 360 degrees and allow for complex 5-axis (X,Y,Z,C,B) contouring operations.
This video is a sneak peek straight from the factory floor.
