It is not official yet but my company just completed the trailer for the upcoming DVD Re-Release of "TIME CHASERS" (a/k/a "Tangents") on DVD in a Special Anniversary Edition. The cult film by David Giancola includes an updated Commentary Track with the Director and Cast, TWO "Behind The Scenes" Documentaries, including "Memories in Time" by Filmmaker Andrew Gannon. Also there are lost Deleted Scenes including the forgotten Prologue to the film. Edgewood is claiming that this will be the definitive version of the film; the one that was released Theatrically throughout New England in 1992. Our trailer, a playful nod to the re-release of "Star Wars" long ago is a lot of fun and we are quite proud to have had the chance to have worked with Mr. Giancola on this very special project. In 1920, King Alexander of Greece died from a monkey bite. His sudden, untimely death was one of the first in a series of disasters that ultimately led to the Greek Catastrophe in Asia Minor of 1922. Who cares? Well, in this piece I wanted to make the point that history is full of strange, absurd events. There is always the element of chaos underneath everything. In Greece, there are innumerable nationalist documentaries exploring the actions of men like Eleftherios Venizelos (women are notably absent, of course) but there is no acknowledgement of chance as a determining factor in history. There are even conspiracy theories about Alexander's death that point to his doctors; people find it truly unthinkable that a king - especially a Bavarian/Danish import - could die from the infected bite of a monkey.
