Our multimedia teacher, Barbara Stasiak produced this piece while guiding us through the process, which was directed by resident artist, David Landau from Fairleigh Dickinson University. For this clip AMCI breaks down the 40-70 mph highway passing test, which is explained in detail. In short, the test results were able to show that the Dodge Ram passed the vehicle in a shorter distance than the Ford and Chevy! The second test that was conducted was 20-65 freeway merging, and both times the Dodge again beat Ford and Chevy!

For this video AMCI explains the freeway hop test that was ran on the 2009 Dodge Ram. In this clip they use a special camera placed in the truck to measure how steady it is while traveling on the freeway. They then compare this to the videos of driving in the GMC Sierra Denali and Toyota Tundra, which showed the Dodge Ram clearly has much less freeway hop!

In this video AMCI shows us the benchmark test that every company puts their vehicles through, which is the 0-60 mph. Every time this test was done the 2009 Dodge Ram beat Ford and Chevy, with their optional V8 engines! AMCI then ran the same test with 1120 pounds of pay load in the truck beds, which showed consistent wins for the Ram! The next test that was run was the quarter mile acceleration, which the Dodge Ram again was able to beat Ford and Chevy in!

In this clip AMCI explains the three different tests they performed to judge the new 2009 Dodge Ram overall ride quality. The three tests were on-road, off-road, and freeway hop, and for the on-road test the Dodge Ram beat its fellow competitors Ford, Nissan, GMC, and Toyota! For the off-road test AMCI measured the ride quality at 30 mph and the results put the Dodge Ram ahead of Chevy, GMC, and Nissan! The Dodge Ram also had less freeway hop at 65mph when compared to the GMC Sierra Denali and the Toyota Tundra!
