Pug Family Robinson3 days and 2 nights camped in the trees in the town of Colfax, Ca after God destroyed our engine. Unable to move from our refuge due to the heat, all services are closed and no hotels will take our 17 pug puppies and dogs. Many thanks to the homeless and local residence for bringing us food and water and helping our family safely back home. This occurred in August en route from Tahoe to adoptive homes. Sadly, outside ties were out with communication power on reserve. Even still the doggies or puppies never experienced distress or discomfort. We had an endless supply of water or a water source near a town that pans gold year round. :)
