Land Rover and Victoria Beckham unveiled a new bespoke luxurious, hand-finished Range Rover Evoque Special Edition at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. The exclusively designed Evoque is the result of a collaboration between Land Rover Design, led by Gerry McGovern with Victoria Beckham, winner of the coveted Designer Brand of the Year award at the 2011 British Fashion Awards.

To celebrate 25 years in North America, Land Rover invited media, owners and influencers to an urban off-road adventure where they drove 2012 SUVs at a custom-made course in the heart of New York City's meatpacking district. Hosted by Bart Scott of the NY Jets, the New York auto show event attracted over 400 luxury SUV enthusiasts.

Der Bentley EXP 9F ist der Ausblick auf ein mögliches Serienmodell in Sachen SUV. Chevrolet läßt gleich zwei Studien feiern: Den Code 130R, ein Coupé mit Platz für vier Personen und den Tru 140S, ein Sportcoupé mit ebenfalls so viel Platz. In den 50ern sorgte der Alfa Romeo Disco Volante für Furore. Jetzt bringt Touring Superleggera die Untertasse zurück, auf Basis des Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione.

Bei Jaguar Land Rover geht’s bergauf. Zwei revolutionäre Defender Studien, offen und geschlossen, haben schon in Frankfurt begeistert. Und mit dem Jaguar C-X160 zeigen die Engländer, wie sie sich einen preiswerten Supersportwagen und Nachfolger des legendären E-Types vorstellen.
