TI session 2010-01-16 5 player setup. The two players in better positions allied up right from the start, while two of the players in the other half were fighting for the first turns, with on of them being completely annihilated in the end. Victory was, in the end, merely a matter of who of the first two players would win.

3 players Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition game, using the Shattered Empire strategy cards, objectives etc. First two turns were kind of memorable... I kind of had to pick the Warfare II card twice in a row, which resulted in me jumping to Mecatol Rex in turn one and into the home system of the player to my left in turn two, giving me the two VPs of my secret goal. Still, the third player (playing Embers of Muaat) had an easy time afterwards just pushing forward while the two of us were still struggling with each other, clearly winning the game in the end.

I love Timelapse Photography. I especially enjoy looking for the patterns that show up when time appears to be moving faster than usual. I first felt in love with it when I watched the films "Baraka" and "Koyaanisqatsi: Life out of Balance", where it is used heavily to show everyday life from a different perspective. For some time I wanted to create a Timelapse of Palma de Mallorca's Bay, in Spain.  There's magic in this Bay and after 24 hours and 4320 photographs, (and a little help from the weather gods :) here's what came out. Filmed with a Canon DSLR 7D, and a 17-40mm lens. One photo taken every 20 seconds remotely with a intervalometer. Put together in Quicktime Pro, and final edit in Final Cut Pro. Music is Hymn by Moby. To give you an insight how we produce and shoot BitnappingTV, here is a short timelapse of a recording session.

The box said "20 minutes from start to finish" (including the 15 minutes in the oven at the end!). This timelapse video spans an hour of preparation. That magic polymer "clay" stuff is NOT easy to get flat and smooth. In the end, though, we are happy with the result.

Toadstool corals are very easy corals to take care of. As with all corals it is best to keep them in good water conditions, but they tend to be forgiving and are a great choice for someone who is just beginning in the hobby.
