Home of an American IconAn Inside Look: Touring the Exclusive Corvette Plant in Kentucky
For over 25 years, Bowling Green, Kentucky has been the home of America's favorite sports car. In fact, every Corvette made in the world today is produced at the plant.
Across the street from the factory, the iconic automobile is honored at the National Corvette Museum. Many new owners, including celebrities like Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon, choose to pick up their 'Vettes here after touring both sites. A special delivery program allows buyers VIP museum access and an inside look at production.
Recently, a retired US four-star general toured the facilities while waiting for his new Grand Sport. The special guest watched the cars come down the assembly line and shook hands with many of the veterans working at the plant.
