El circuito de Valdemorillo acogió el Red Bull MX Mud Kids, una carrea abierta al público donde competiron los mejores pilotos 'alevines' y 'promesas' de España. 82 jóvenes pilotos de Motocross de toda España se reuniron el domingo, 8 de febrero de 2009, en el circuito de Valdemorillo (Madrid), para una carrera en formato Open: el Red Bull MX Mud Kids. Los mejores en las categorías ‘Alevines’ (65 cc) y ‘Promesas’ (85 cc) pudieron medirse en Valdemorillo, con varias mangas de entrenamientos, clasificatorias, semifinales y finales. Se trata de una carrera única y una buena oportunidad para ver reunidos a los mejores pilotos de Motocross juveniles de toda España. El ganador de cada categoría recibió nada menos que una moto KTM (de 65 y 85 cc) con especificaciones 2009. Además, los tres primeros de cada categoría se llevaron un sistema de protección Leatt Brace.
